Mixing

My Burdened Mind

Sharing a new album. This is from a gentleman who put tons of effort into his creation. Please check out “My Burdened Mind” on iTunes by Aaron Holt here.

I worked with him by giving constructive feedback during the mastering process. Then, I took listen of each song. What happened next was, I loaded each song into ProTools, and modified the EQ just slightly in each frequency band. After that, I wrote down the DB and Q of each part of the suggested curve and sent it to Aaron.

He considered the feedback and went to town on his own process. Whether or not he used my suggested EQ changes, I think it turned out great!
